Position Description:

You will be part of our Department of Customer Project Management (CPM). You will work across the whole project lifecycle, from technical presales to project implementation. 

As a Field Engineer with strong core technical skills, you are involved in the technical presales activities with existing and new potential customers, in collaboration with the Solution Engineers.
You will also work with Project Leaders during the project implementation phase to resolve technical issues locally with customers. You act as the technical expert and transfer Cinemo product knowledge to customers. You collaborate closely with the Solution Engineering and the Customer Support teams, the software engineering departments and customer technical staff to ensure best positioning and integration of Cinemo’s portfolio in customer projects.

This role requires an energetic and motivated individual who works well in a fast-paced dynamic environment.


  • Provide guidance for customers about Cinemo’s product portfolio
  • Translate customer use cases into Cinemo features, anticipate customer technical needs
  • Provide technical documentation, datasheets and answer technical questions for specific products and projects  
  • Contribute to RFI-s, RFQ-s and Q&A sheets
  • Act as interface between the customer and CPM for resolving technical matters locally in close collaboration with the Project Leader in charge of the project
  • Depending on project need and issue urgency/complexity assist the customer in integrating the Cinemo SDK and debugging their software in relation to the implementation of Cinemo’s features  
  • Support Proofs of Concept and project implementation   

Experience & Skills:

  • College/university degree
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of software engineering processes with complex technical issues
  • Good knowledge of C and C++ programming languages
  • Experience with embedded SW product
  • Understanding of cloud technologies 
  • Significant experience with customer support
  • Self-motivated, proactive and able to work under minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for efficient collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Well-organised with high attention to detail
  • Interest in next-generation multimedia 
  • Experience in automotive industry is a plus
  • Proficiency in English and Japanese
